Peanut butter and curry?
Don’t knock it til you try it! Great mix of protein, healthy fats and veggies! This curry is definitely in my top favorites because of it’s nutty flavor and crunch! It’s a great combinations of healthy ingredients and spices.
I love easy directions if you haven’t noticed, so to me that means throwing everything into the crockpot. It saves me a lot of time and stress. Coming home to a cooked meal without having to stand in the kitchen for hours…um yes please!
Nutrition Info:
Peanuts: Look for peanut butter that is freshly ground and has one ingredient…nuts! Nuts and nut butters are a great source of healthy fats, protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals. Some studies show nuts can also be beneficial to prevent cardiovascular disease and cancer!
Broccoli: is high in many nutrients, including fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, iron and potassium. Broccoli also contains more protein than most other vegetables.
Carrots: I don’t know why carrots got a bad rep for being high in sugar, but I’m here to tel you that’s not true! Carrots have a number of health benefits. They are a weight loss friendly food and have been linked to lower cholesterol levels and improved eye health. Not to mention they are a good source of beta-carotene and antioxidants.
Deer Meat: Venison and beef are considered complete proteins because they contain all 10 of the essential amino acids. Amino acids are compounds that are responsible for chemical reactions in the body, and they also play a role in metabolic function.
