Wellness Mantras

A mantra is often a short sound, word or phrase used for meditation purposes. Mantra comes from a Sanskrit word meaning a “sacred message or text, charm, spell, counsel.” Wellness mantras can be a helpful tool to connect our body and mind while focusing on our health from a holistic approach. 

I encourage people to use self affirmations and create phrases that remind them they can achieve their goals. Self talk that boosts confidence and strength can make a big difference in your attitude when working on new self care habits. Writing your goals out or journaling can help you discover a self affirmation phrase or mantra. I bought a gratitude journal to help me brainstorm. 

Our thoughts are the most powerful tools we have. Whether it’s making health goals, career changes, or desiring a dream, you have to be able to believe in your success. If you want to change your reality you have to change your thinking and perceptions to get there. Having positive thoughts and feelings are critical for our well-being. So gas yourself up, have a pep talk, and go out there and do what makes you feel your best!

Holistic Wellness Mantras 

1. “A positive mindset can take me where I want to go. My body is healthy and capable. I am free to be myself and express my creativity without judgement”. 

2. “I honor my mind, body and spirit by being kind to myself.”

3. “I am proud of all the things I have accomplished.”

4. “I am exactly where I need to be and do not need to rush the process”. 


5. “I create my own path and am on an incredible journey.”

6. “My positive thoughts will take me far.”

7. “It’s okay to fall or make mistakes, that’s how I will learn and grow”

8. “I will have a good day, because it’s my choice.”

9. “I exhale negativity and inhale strength”.

10. “I have the power to let go of things that do not serve me”.


11. “I am grateful all the things my body can do and how it carries me”. 

12. “I respect my body and will treat it with kindness.”

13. “Good health is a practice, and thee’s no such thing as perfection.”

14. “I listen to my body and give it what it needs.”

15. “Every cell in my body is alive and the gift of life is beautiful.”
